Royaumont Abbey

Chaalis Royal Abbey
The estate of the Chaalis Royal Abbey, around 40 km north-east of Paris and 30 minutes from Chantilly, contains the ruins of the 13th-century Abbey Church, a chateau housing the Jacquemart-André collections and an enormous listed park with ponds and a rose garden.

Chateau d’Ecouen, National Museum of the Renaissance
The Chateau d’Ecouen in the Ile de France region – 19 km north of Paris and 25 minutes from Chantilly – was built for Anne de Montmorency in the 16th century and is one of the great architectural treasures of the French Renaissance. Its original decor contains the prestigious collection of decorative arts from the National Museum of the Renaissance (furniture, gold and silverware, sculptures, ceramics, enamel paintings, painted hides, tapestries etc.)

Maison de Claude Monet
